LOCATION (Fully virtual)

We are pleased to inform you that the Conference has transitioned to an online event. We encourage and welcome all Climate enthusiasts to attend the Conference!!!

BACKGROUND

Gobeshona is a knowledge-sharing platform, initiated in January 2014 aiming to bring together the national and international Climate research community to encourage sharing and making climate change research effective.

Interested Institutions that conduct climate change research or those who implement research into use, are welcome to join this platform.

Currently, more than 50 diverse organizations from across the globe, have collaborated to disseminate climate change-related literature, events, opportunities, and ongoing research. Online interaction is encouraged between researchers and other interested parties, to register and connect with others.

Gobeshona platform seeks to address the quality of research being produced in different countries by encouraging constructive discussion and feedback amongst researchers, making research more meaningful from the inception stage through to the completion stage, and resulting publications become effective for use in response to climatic impacts around the world.

About Gobeshona 7

The program combines Keynote, Thematic, Organizational, Networking, and Poster Gallery sessions including virtual field trips.

The four-day conference provides an opportunity to bring together a distinguished and multidisciplinary group of scholars, policy-makers, researchers and practitioners from around the world to share their knowledge, research, and practical experiences on climate change issues with a broad range of themes and sub-themes, focusing on  Locally Led Adaptation Action across different geographical regions. Centring on ‘actionable research’ that can help make effective policies and climate actions.
